Terra Novus

This piece took me almost 7 months due to a computer malfunctioning, size restrictions and a general lack of creativity!

The original size was intended to be over 4k px but my computer decided otherwise, and so now I had to sacrifice to this size, for which my computer STILL had trouble generating.

Basically, i've instilled just about everything I've ever learned about photoshop into this piece.

The Psd is of an unspeakable size, and all the planets were created using photo's I had taken, the City was rendered in secondlife with 8x anti-aliasing.

The panoramic of the mountains was generated using multiple renders of a setting i created in TerraGen, (since I have the demo, I am limited to 1280px wide)

I hand drew alot of the water (which is why it's a bit funky) and the clouds were from various photo's I took.

I wasnt quite sure if i wanted the warp-like black hole or not, but i figured i'd stick it in there to fill in the void space!

Overall, I am very pleased with this outcome!
it was quite an adventure to make, and I certainly hope you enjoy it!
